Dr Jenna Sullivan MBBS FACD is a specialist dermatologist with the Australasian College of Dermatologists and also holds a Masters in melanoma research from the University of Queensland.
Dr Sullivan graduated from the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Medicine in 2014 (MBBS) and in her final year of medical school completed dermatology electives at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York and St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.
In 2019, Dr Sullivan commenced accredited dermatology specialist training at multiple sites including the Queensland Institute of Dermatology, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Mater Hospital Brisbane, Queensland Children’s Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital.
In addition to her speciality training, in 2020 Dr Sullivan graduated with a Higher Research Degree (MPhil) Masters from the University of Queensland on the subject of Genetic Polymorphisms Associated with Amelanotic and Nodular Melanoma under the supervision of Professor H. Peter Soyer. She has published in both national and international journals and in 2018 was a recipient of the prestigious Bauer Foundation Prize for the Best Research Paper presented at the Australasian College of Dermatology, Annual Scientific Meeting.
Dr Sullivan’s special interests include the detection and management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, acne, emerging biologic medications, medical dermatology, vulval skin disorders, paediatric dermatology and axillary hyperhidrosis.
Born and raised in regional Queensland, Dr Sullivan lives happily in Toowoomba with her husband and young family and is passionate about delivering personalised, speciality care to her patients.
